Just back from Borovets

Hi all
Have just returned from my first ever weeks skiing in Borovets. It was fab!! I cant believe I learned to ski!! I was only going to watch the kids but decided to give it a go and had 1-1 lessons with Jordan. 45 levs an hour - about £15 I think and worth every penny too! Having never had skis on before, after 4 hours of lessons I was able to ski down a piste (OK only a green one but you've got to start somewhere) with my kids and it was such fun. Did not fall over once. I am hooked ...

I was only going to watch the kids but decided to give it a go and had 1-1 lessons with Jordan. 45 levs an hour - about £15 I think and worth every penny too! Did not fall over once. I am hooked now and definitely will come back next year.
PS have Jordans e-mail and phone number if anyone interested for next season. Would definitely recommend him.

re: Just back from Borovets

I didnt mind paying him 45 levs an hour - the guy has to earn a living! plus I have never skiied before and in 4 hours of lessons he got me able to ski down a green run - TWICE, and, honestly, didnt fall over both times! I did fall a few times in the lessons on the nursery slope doing my snow ploughs round corners but on the green run at the top of the gondola I found it much easier.

Anyone else had lessons from Jordan - am sure he's been mentioned on this MB before?? by the way ...

hi, I think that's a bargain for personal tuition. We paid £36 per hour for 5 of us in the group with Method Ski School and it was crap too Mad

The instructor then charged £30 per hour for personal tuition for a 5 year old.
