Just returned from another week in Borovets and had a fantastic time!
Firstly, the snow- well as kas keeps everyone up to date with reliable information, i will not repeat things, but we had plenty of good skiing in blue sky/ tanning weather- a little bit repetitive on the runs, but better than had been initially expected so cant complain!

Our hotel (Iglika) was decent enough, food to be expected, if not to taste, eat out- its cheap enough-
The hotel was a little noisy some early mornings as people returned after a night out- (but i only think i heard them because i didnt have enough to drink!)
That however can not be said of the Forum meet evenings!

Forum meets!- well a great deal of credit has to be paid to both Bobby and Kas for arranging these evenings- they were superb fun for all, games and laughs!- and so many turned up- hi to you all- hope you all got back safe and sound!
Bobby and Kas- two very remarkable people who are admiral ambasadors to this site- and representatives in resort, (and im saying that without you guys supplying more shots!)
You made everyone so welcome, and the kids miss you lots!
(i miss Bobbys brandy breaks on the slopes!) : (shame we all missed you on saturday when we popped into the white house for lunch!)

The white house (top of Gondola)- is the cheapest up top, shame the Borosports instructors cant take people there, but understand their reasons being contracted so to say to Borosports pubs etc.

Borosports- hire gear, i found to be of poor standard, dont be afraid to ask for change to equipment if not suited.
My son had skis too big for him the first day, and after changing them (after 3 requests) he skied much much better!
Skis- i found to be in poor condition and bought wax myself (as others did)- poor edges and old equipment- i would seriously consider booking packages elsewhere rather than use Borosports next year.

Nightlife- as varied as ever- snowhut, good venue for forum meet, the Black tiger (with Bobbys pole in situ)- better still for a boozy night!
we returned to many fav bars and tried new ones- never dissapointed.

Prices- Usually around 4 lev for a pint, though offers in bars around for 2.5 lev " asda prices" the touts were shouting!
Lots of buy one get one free offers available!

we met many fiendly folk and had some realy good times- My thanks especially to Jim, Sarah and little Charlie, also Jo, who we skied with and had a good laugh along the way! (and shared more than a few beers with!) hope to see you again soon!
To summarise - Another great visit to Borovets- looked even better this morning with lots of fresh snow!
Lucky you guys heading out there soon- cant wait to go back!
