Was at the hotel pamporovo, it was amazing!! pity you need to pay to do pretty much everything, but the food was great, and I'm used to the fact bulgarians dont use p's and q's!!
We got there tuesday and it CHUCKED it down with snow when we got there, had an amazing week of skiing, apart from the friday I think it was? Where the main chair lift wasnt working, d'oh!!!
Glad to hear that you a good time . Everyone was looking at the webcam, what is happening with all of the runs? Is there any new snow expected? Are there enough runs and lifts open,l Dorry for all the Q's. I am off this saturday and would like to know.
Dont worry about the webcam, ist right at the bottom and theres tons of snow at the top, the snow cannons are doing a great job aswell. I'd say its snowing lightly every day practically. All the runs are open, only problem is the green run is a bit icey at like three or four parts. Yeah there'll be more snow, every lift is open apart from one which is broken down, but thats just a drag lift and they were busy repairing it.
Nick,
good post, that's made me feel a whole lot better on a miserable monday, were staying at hotel pamporovo and head out this saturday, i've heard so many different reports about the hotel and snow conditions that its made my head spin !! so you reckon the hotels good ?
great to have a positive post about the snow. We go out the 3rd of feb for the 3rd time. I wasn't too worried as know where the snowshack is and realise if there is snow there there will be loads at the top of the mountain.
They have been working on Bristol airport all night and it will re-open at lunchtime with groves in the runway as requested by all the airlines so don't expect any further problems.
The ONLY problem you may have, is if there are 6 of you, and booked three double rooms, they seem to have a habit of giving you two triple rooms instead. Not that bad a problem though really!
Also the pool is free to use, but bring your own swimming cap as they cost 15 lev!
