HiHaving been to Borovets loads of times and due to come out next week (Thursday) we were thinking that this time we would go to Samakov a few evenings.
Where abouts is the K Bar?
We have been to the 'Old House restaurant' a few times but seem to remember someone telling us about another 'nice/posh' place in Samakov.
Any ideas?

Hi Peter,The other 'posh place' you are referring to is probably Kokoshkova Kusthta or Madarova Kushta which are quite near the Old House.
The K Bar is closer to the centre of the town. Do you know Samakov at all? If yes, tell me where you know and I can direct you in...

Hi KasIt was Madarova Kushta I was thinking about - but will probably now try all three and wander (taxi) to the K Bar after.
I think Bobby know me - I am a pal of Vesko who got me to part with good money on an old fallen down house in Dospei.
Just need a good builder now!

Thanks for that Karen and hope all goes well for you at the white house. Quiet in Samokov right now. Not seeing any tourists at the moment !Pete, we're not "posh" just a good old english bar with a small home made food menu. Also, i live in Dospei, how mad is that !!!!! Drop me an email so i can tell you all about village life, lol. Might even be able to help you with a builder as well, lol.

steff, hi missed new year this year lol!! much saner affair, hope the bars going well in your new venue, and hi peter, i picked you up from sofia a few years ago, that property will be a good investment in a few years , better than a uk savings account anyway!!!ps anyone know anythng about kazakstan?? some interesting aim shares based there..

How are you all ??? Yes, we have missed you this season. New Year was good - we got finished about 3am - home by 4 then asleep till about mid-day New Years day, lol. Hope all is well with you all and when you coming out ?
Peter, i agree with Fraser. Not sure where your house is in Dospei but i think it is not too far from ours and at the moment preparations are being made for six new houses being built so we get a new road and proper canalisation ...

The bar is opposite the museum in Samokov town centre at Rilski Skior Street. It is where you see the big "Relax" sign - we are underneath that ! Hope to see you - and anyone else who fancies a sojourn down to Samokov !

HI Fraser - Yes I remember you well. I am sorry to say the Tracy's skiing has not progressed that much since you gave her some lessons. She has one skiing aim - to do the Musala Path. Looking at the current conditions we are looking forward to walking it!
