Am currently in pamps, have just started my 2nd week here and the snow is rubbish. Am not skiing 2moro due to the lack of it. Apparently we're forecast some over the next 2 days, but if this doesn't happen then some of the runs may well be closed. Today was more like mud skiing!!!
We(me,wife & jackski son)are due to go to Pamps at half-term(16th feb)& starting to get worried 'bout snow situation. Please keep us informed this week about the expected dump, hope that it happens 4u2!
hi me and friends are on our way this sunday(27th) is there much hope of getting a weeks snowboarding in next week? otherwise we might try and change our booking if at all possible. your opinion would be appreciated, many thanks , all the best for the rest of the week. john
Just got back from Pamps and have to agree ... lower, busier slopes, especially approaching and leaving the mid station (Green 6, I think) are getting thin and brown and higher up, even though there's a reasonable covering, it's getting icy - definitely needs freshening up I'm afraid although higher up it was still perfectly usable.
Just back from pamps and it's very true to conditions have worsened over the week. When we firstly arrived things were fantastic but over the week green 6 just below midstation has been taken down to gravel at points.
Further up the mountain is better with the red, blue and black runs doing fine.
Was just checking out accuweather and it says on monday night that there will be almost 6 inches of snow falling in chepalare and that 10k away so hopefully pamps will get a good dump monday night too. We are going on the 27th also from edinburgh
