My question is what is the best and cheapest way to book my last minute holiday? Am i best searching the usual websites until last minute or book everything up seperately?
what makes it a little more difficult is there is now 3 of us going, so we either need 2 rooms or a studio.
Any help and expertise would be really appreciated!
Thank you, Billy.
Hi Billy , I booked independantly last year and again this year , am staying at four seasons in Samokov on Holiday Rentals site . Nick does the lot transfers , equipment and lessons if required and I flew with BA but flights cheaper when I booked . The regular posters I am sure will give more advice. Kas and Bobby locals who are always spot on .All the best John
we have always skied borrovets but trying bansko this year
just search the usual co's, crystal, first choice, inghams etc, this year we booked with balken holidays, good price for extra's, ie ski carrige with storage just £15
alot of the hotels have rooms that accomodate 3 people, in borovets i know the iglika does, in bansko the strazhite, just type in 3 people in the holiday search
Ifg its your first time recommend a package, try looking at Balkan Holidays. Iglika for the last 6 years the food has been better than other hotels in bg. Book a family room and you'll get a massive room or a room with separate living area and bedroom. BAR AREA IS GOOD WITH SKY SPORTS.
hOPE THIS HELPS.
book your flights and accomadation seperate you will be sure to save money, alls you need to do then is email kas and she will sort transfers and ski hire for you, the flora appartments are ideal as they are beside the gondola, beside the bars and above hunters(ski rental shop),you will find plenty of 3 man rooms there too as they are mostly priced on a nightly rate rather than per person ive stayed there the last 2 years and staying again in feb, honistly its a really ...

on looking in to it, seems we a little late for getting a good price on flights! as we need to go from bristol really!
Other thing thats proveing really hard we want
2 rooms! as theres me and my wife and brother-in-law all we can seem to find is a room with 3 beds! in hotels this is, as we wanted half board!
grrrrrrr search continues!!!!!!
For bansko, try Hotel Avalon (I can personally recommend and James and Vania very helpful-but only b&b, though in a quite back street so may not be suitable if you want to party, but think they may be full for your dates alternatively two possible chalet options.
Devonshire Lodge (who I have met in the summer and are a nice couple from Devon-Glenys & Nigel), or perhaps Piste & Peaks (or some such name). Need your own flights but I their prices include transfers.
Half board I understand ...

Half board I understand food can be mixed, but then I have booked half board as that was what the Hotel was on-but if not happy I know there are plenty of places to eat.
I have a one bed apartment (sleeps 4) in Bansko in the Spa Hotel Emerald. Have a look at our webpage. www.banskoskiapartment.iowners.net Please feel free to call me if you have any questions.
Hi
My 3 mates just booked to Boro this Sunday.
they are staying at the Rila (SP) hotel on half board. Flying from Edinburgh with Transfer, half board accom, Ski Carridge + 20 KG bag each and also covering the extra for booking a 4 man room for 3 people. It cost them £270 each with Balcan Holidays.
Sounds like a deal to me and that was just a cuple of days ago for Sunday. So may be last min is the way to go.
Cheers
