As most of you know, I have been travelling to Pamporovo for many many years, and have never had the problems we are experiencing from Crystal this season.
As we are travelling as a group of 3, all booked together, all at the same time, all paid for at the same time,you would think that any alterations would be the same. NOOOOOOO.
I received a letter from Crystal saying my flight had been changed from the 24th of Jan to the 24TH OF JAN!!!!!!! Flying into Plovdiv and not Sofia. And ...

The other 2 had a simular letter but stated they were leaving on the 25th Jan and returning on the 1ST FEB (Even though they have paid for 2 weeks!!!!!)
When I rang Crystal today, there excuse was due to them sending out a lot of letters at once. (???????) I was then told that I would in fact be travelling on the 25th and not the 24th as stated in my letter, the other 2 would in fact be returning on the 15th Feb......... 3 weeks later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I asked why their holiday, booked for 2 weeks, had gone from 1 week to 3 weeks.
''Oh no sorry, they will be returning on the 8th as well.'' I was told.
Not wishing to put the fear of God up anyone, but I have a sneaking feeling that I
have not heard the last of this yet. Maybe they shoud change their name and drop the STAL. Just call it CRY HOLIDAYS.

May I suggest that you book with Inghams next year

I book with Crystal due to their help 4 years ago in bringing BJ back to England (Our Bulgarian dog which we sadly lost last year.)They have always in the past been really good, and all this is probably down to one person having a bad day, but what a mess!!!!!!

At least you've had something in writing!!! I spoke to two (idiots) people, one is convinced we're changing to the 25th, one is convinced we're not. I've told them we will cancel if its the 25th as the flight is so early and the transfer longer we effectively lose a whole day and will probably have to get up about 3 a.m for the journey home. They are assuring me that only those going to Pamporovo are changing, those going to Borovets are not.

I have travelled with Crystal many time over the past ten years and they've always been very good in the past!! Hmmmmm!!

For someone who has been going for many years I would have thought you would ditch the "Package Holiday" and DIY.I DIY in Borovets its much cheaper and you don't have to leave for the airport 4 hours before everyone else!!!

Quite simply because I trust professionals (????) to do a good job and make all the arrangements for me. DIY is fine until something goes wrong and you have no representitive to turn to. If it all goes well then I am sure it is cheaper, but I'm not bothered about that. I just want to make one on-line booking and sit back.Crystal have been excellent over many years and I have had no reason to expect anything different this year.
