Less than 2 Lev to the £. Sad times

Just been looking at exchange rates and it's not nice! Anyone know the rates in resort?

Not that it matters after a few Booze

but I might end up with a few less pairs of socks to bring back for the missus!

What site are you using to convert? XE.com is giving me 2.14 :1GBP

I know in Boro, if you ask in shops they'll usually give you a good deal for English cash ... I once got close to 3lev:1GBP when the rate was 2.5:1

get a nationwide flex card - 2.15 to £1 when withdrawing from an ATM in BG today..

Was looking at Post Office and Travelex. XE gave 2.14 but that's the Market average not selling price. 2.15 in resort sounds good tho.

I have just been to look at the rates from Alpha bank here in Bansko. They are 2.11Lv to the £. They have been going down gradually since last week where they were 2.16Lv.

rate today if withdrawing on said card = 2.14... out of interest, I just looked at some old bank statements, earlier this year (2nd jan 09), I only got 2.04!

just got a load of money changed today down town the rate was only 1.94811 to the pound.....its always gona go down towards the season time...id think it will go back over 2 once the season has finished, its how they normally do it
