I love the smell of the wood smoke and the little old ladies selling their wares.Skiing at top of gondola was fab!

Meeting up with old friends and making new ones. The buzz, smell of wood burning, the characters, the informality, watching the beginners on the 1st day, the floodlit toboggoning. Being able to meet up easily and quickly finding your way around. Feeling confident to let the kids go off and ski, knowing you will find them again easily.
And the views - looking for bears in amongst the trees, stopping to just absorb the clean air and take photos. The peace as you travel up on a chair lift. ...
