Levs or Euro that is the ???

We are going to Bansko in Feb and we are unsure what is the best currency to take?
Also we were in Pamp last Feb and never really found it that cold ( yes could have been a warm season by all accounts) Because Bansko is higher up does it tend to be that much bitter on the top generally. My kids are freezers thus my concern

take some lev just for the first few party nights nad take sterling to cash into lev out there

I always change some money at the airport, cause thats where i have got the best rate. But then again.....I only have norwegian money.

Jenny Levs are fine. Don't worry about euro's. Either change here or take sterling clean notes no rips or writing and not scottish and change in resort.

I managed to change a Scottish £20 note in Bansko last year, but the girl did give it a funny look.

some wont change scottish and that seems to be all over europe dont know why.

Just returned from Pamporovo and didn't use a single Euro. I suggest taking Lev's
