Lift Pass Type (Bansko)

Does anyone know what system Bansko use for their lift passes, as when we went to borovets we had to insert the card into a slot on the ski lift turnstyles, but in italy just had to brush past them to scan them... can anyone inform me if they know what bansko is like so we know whether to take the lift pass holders or not (hopefully we don't, they're a bit annoying!)

It's touchless at all lifts - just keep it in your right glove or pocket and you'll be fine....

Funny - I agonised over this for a few minutes before deciding it was the right... but I half expected someone to disagree and I'm doubting again hmmmmm

as long as if it's just a 'touchless' scan one, its fine

Its the left, in fact many ski jackets now have a zippable slot to put them in!!. A tip is to not put your card near to the reciever until your legs are against the turnstile, otherwise the turnstile may activate, if you dont pass through and try to swipe again the system thinks 2 people are trying to use same card and wont let you through!!
