did U want to remove the whole folder from the main start menu or just some items in it....
wot version of windows and IE R U using???

WINDOWS 98.

I never use favourites from my start up so if it is possible to remove the entire folder I will be hapy to do that.

Click start then Run....
In the box that appears type REGEDIT and then click OK.

on the left hand side click in the plus next to HKEY_CURRENT_USER
click on the plus next to Software
click on the plus next to ...
Click start then Run....
In the box that appears type REGEDIT and then click OK.

on the left hand side click in the plus next to HKEY_CURRENT_USER
click on the plus next to Software
click on the plus next to Microsoft
click on the plus next to Windows
click on the plus next to CurrentVersion
click on the plus next to Policies
click on Explorer to highlight it.
click edit
move mouse to new and select DWORD value from the menu.
TYPE the following EXACTLY as here NoFavoritesMenu and press enter.
double click on NoFavoritesMenu and change the data value to 1.
Click Ok.
Click File and Exit.
Check to see if its gone if not your PC will need a restart before it can be updated!

Long winded isn't it, just to get rid of a menu!!!!
