Dju Gill, ah someday it will happen Wink
Well only paid my ticket with Bulgaria Air and the crew of SkiDVD will take care of me (I hope Cool)
Have no clue if we take an instructor for a few hrs or so but will see @ the moment Very Happy hhhmmm you never know with me huh? ahhaha
The only thing that nerves me is how to get to Bansko (prob with a taxi) and if the appts are fully finished.
OOgh, everything will be fine when you don't expect too much of it huh?
Have to clean up heavy my loft now but ...

re: Lion Bansko

If you def. want a taxi, and flying into sofia let me know by email the dates/times etc... not sure if I can get hold of him but I can try and get a price for you, he tends to be much cheaper than anyone else Very Happy but he only does Sofia.
I cleaned all day yesterday - amazing how many ski hats I found I had
Very Happy need to stop buying them but I cannot resist...

re: Lion Bansko

Donkeywalloper.... I'm staying here in March and thought, can you tell us if they supply those mini-soap/shampoo/conditioner bottles n things? It's always a gamble whether to take your own or not and if you've been there then it'd be handy to know.

Also, I read poor reviews about the food and people saying the nightclub was really noisy til 4am. Any opinion?

Cheers,
Sara

re: Lion Bansko

they supply all of the above, but not sure you would have nice glossy hair if you used them Very Happy think it was shampoo and cond. in one
the food is typical bulgarian, ifyou are used to it you will be fine, you will not starve, there is plenty and just ask for more if they do run out... its no diff. from any other hotel I have stayed in in Bulgaria...
hope this helps

Tanjette

Just got back from Bansko and had to take taxi there and back. Used Krasimir Brankov from web-site www.sofiabulgaria.virtualave.net. He was very reliable meeting us at airport with our names on card then being there on Sat morning at 6.30AM to take us back. Charged 160 euros for return journey. May be the same person as Gill used above as he only does Sofia transfers. ( Bit of a mad driver though - but they all are!!!! ).

There is a hairdryer in your bathroom, although it isn't overly powerful. You get a large bath towel and hand towel which you can have changed every day. You can also get a bathrobe for a week for 5 lev and they have beach towels at the pool. Hotal is great, you will ove it.
