Just a thought;Would it not be worth changing this forum to a proper forum board? Like a board powered by invision or something.
It would stop ppl being able to post porn, allow true posters to sign in and read topics, post personal messages to people etc etc.
Plus, it would make the board a lot more readable. It only takes about 1 hour for old topics to drop off the page.
A forum like SkiDVD have is what we need!
Any ideas?

Yup the SKIDVD forum is superb that is why I am an admin over their as well. Sadly nothing to do with Pete or myself as we do not own the site merely keep an eye on the fun.re: MESSAGE FOR BOARD ADMIN!!!!
I find skidvd a bit long winded at least with the porn u know what it is straight away and dont have to read it,but saying that I havent left this sight and need to pack, Its great though thanks for making the run up to my holiday even more exciting thanks everyone and cheers

SkiDVD is a very good forum and a bit more community and fun based, but I think I have learnt more about skiing in Bulgaria from this site.I use both sites as i enjoy both. There is no point changing one so that it copies the other. If you did that you might as well just scrap the one that changed.

i agree. its not to copy the forum as such, its just to make it easier to use, bu if you do not have the access, then i guess you cant!never mind. Was just an idea.

Wth you on that Smag. My opinion is that it will lose a lot of posters if they are made to register. The service it gives a awesome, added to that the people who post regulary, makes it a unique site. It is after all an information site which should be availible to anyone. Its made my holiday more exciting knowing that I'm not only going skiing but meeting up with people I have got to know are into the same things through this site and its format.re: MESSAGE FOR BOARD ADMIN!!!!
Hmm the SKIDVD thing is interesting. We are still in our infancy over there only just passed our 1st birthday. For the short time it has been going we get a amazing amount of hits we get not as much as here granted but this site has been running much longer.
When SKIDVD started all the old hands and regular posters from here by that I meen the ones that are still chatting in the summer when most of you have given up signed up and used it mostly as a chatroom. Now it is starting to evolve ...

When SKIDVD started all the old hands and regular posters from here by that I meen the ones that are still chatting in the summer when most of you have given up signed up and used it mostly as a chatroom. Now it is starting to evolve into a more winter sports based site which is what Phil the owner wanted.
So with the hardcore regulars on there it has developed a sense of community becuase most of post everyday. We have even had 2 meets one in Bath and the last in Milton Keynes and in March many of us are going to Bansko. We all share a passion for Bulgaria and want to encourage others and help others with a interest in Bg.
This season we have seen many new users on both sites and I hope they stay with usfo next season and beyond.
On a pesronal note I love both sites but I would like to see this evolve into a more modern forum it would certainly help with my Admin duties I can tell you.
