After last seasons poor snow fall we really didn't get to learn much at ski school, we skied on sheet ice and gravel from the top near the tower and went down the green run (i think) to mid station, we did this 4 or 5 times a day and that was it, I guess it took about half hour or so from top to mid station due to the conditions, MY QUESTION IS...with the conditions being better this year how long would it take a novice (me) to get from mid station to the bottom ?
The problem you may find is that you may get a little stuck, the run kind of flaten's and has a little up hill rise, you can get a good push on with your poles, unlike the boarders, who u usually see draging the board a long. I believe this area is visable from the road on your way down to ski centre 2 and is under the one man lift area, but not over confident on that. I would say, 15-20 mins depends on the traffic you hit!!! (ski schools!) and your confidence to gain some speed or happy ...

Cheers guys.......I was thinking you were going to say an hour or so, I know the flat bit where end up walking, we watched them trudging through the mud from the 1 man lift it look horrible, SO...from the tower to bottom should only take about 40 mins then ?
yeah something like, taking the nice green route, with getting a good clear run, you can do it in a good time. treat yourselves to some of the blues as your confidence grows, you will enjoy them if you are confident in your own ability.
Try and go Parallel a bit higher from the bottom each time you go down. You'll get more speed up and you'll get a bit further over the flat bit each time you do it.
AA, that is true for the skiers, but for the boarders, it is the walk of shame as stated twice by Phil, I have absolutely flown down there, and everytime you never make it.... well I know I haven't, can anyone tell me they have on a board?? I would be impressed if they have..
