We were originally flying from Doncaster, but Thomson changed it to Manchester. Tickets have arrived and they state Plovdiv as our destination, but hubby is paranoid that we're going to be landing in Sofia. I've checked Thomson's flights for next year - and all the Manchester-Pamps ones are going to Sofia.
Can someone please confirm that this flight to Plovdiv does actually go there.
Same has happened to us for 28.2.09. I am also not convinced it will land in Plovdiv but not much anyone can do about it now.
Some other companies have been landing there so fingers crossed. Got 5 kids with us so dont fancy the Sofia/Pamps transfer. Although we have been to Pamps every year since 1999. will prob try Bansko or Borovets if we book next year if no Plovdiv.
I'm flying into Plovdiv Lizzi same day as you. What time you due to land? Also the Thomson website has a habit of only showing flights to Sofia when you first search but then when you click on the flight you get a choice.....have you tried that? See ya soon
Hi Lizzi just had a look and no flights to plovdiv for Gatwick for next year either so they are either going to stop using it or haven't loaded them on yet but going to pamps via Sofia is gonna be a nightmare. Am sure that this year you will be going to plovdiv so long as there's no weather probs on the day.
Hi Dona
We leave Manchester at 15.55, so would imagine it'll be pretty late when we get there - hence the concerns about Sofia.
But hey - look at all that lovely snow
Yeah! We leave Manchester at 15:35, arrive Sofia 20:55.
Then the nightmare coach ride and expect to arrive at Pamps at 03:00. Long lay in on Sunday morning, and down the hill to collect passes and do fittings during the afternoon. Alcohol might be my best friend next Saturday night!!
hi, we've just been with thomsons and we were also changed from doncaster to manchester and yes we flew to plovdiv.the boot fitting was 8.30am so sorry no lie-in.
hope you have more snow than we did, but still had a great hol.
