Just a quickie - I thought Ally had mentioned somewhere like Stoke and staying at an Hotel. PP has mentioned the MK snowdome which is great fro us in Bicester and will be easier to persuade the Old Man!!
Could you also confirm this is a family affair and not just adults so that I can make necessary arrangements.
Not sure I will be able to ski /bumboard though as in hospital next week for a "little op" - managed to put it off from 22 Jan so it wouldn't stop me doing ...

Got our photos back today. Sorry not digital so can't post them here. Simon hasn't managed to do a very good job. His APS set has come back blank and he also spent a day filming whilst out there, before realising he didn't have a film in his camera Mine are good though and there are some nice one's of the children.
All,
If MK does not work out, we could very well end up back in the midlands, it was just a thought, as the Xscape Snow dome is there, as it goes, it could work out very expensive if we were to ski first.
It may be an idea to go ten-pin bowling or something similar where we coiuld get a basket meal within the venue. Then possibly back to the hotel bar.
Daniel and I are both looking into things, so please bear with us!
Just to put an Idea out there after talking to Ally we are concerned about the total cost of the thing. Well hotel, meal in restuarant, drinks(loads) travel well it all adds up does'nt it? I know someone who owns a very nice restaurant not far from MK that could cater for us he could do a 3 course meal with coffee for about £28 per head(children welcome) But then it would be a case of booking a local hotel/travelodge. But the bowling option would be a bit cheaper it just depends on what you ...
