We should add and the facts that there are hardly any queues in these places so the skiing is non-stop literaly.
All of my clients are always happy with the set up snow if present with the drinks etc. until they get the lift-pass statistics and if they compare them (of if they know them around the world) with other places ,most of the clients ( unless still low beginners or high drinkers) are moving on to better (ski) ...

I can add alot more to it from , say just France but no point-it is more than obvious.Everybody can do a seach on the web.
Even Bansko lift prices for what it is are expensive. Not mentioning Pamporovo which is has become a joke at the moment with the amount of runs and lifts.
just few of them:
Full season Lift pass in France : £320-£500(800-1250lv).
The Paradiski season pass in Les Arcs is around £500, or a Les Arcs only pass is about £380. A full Espace Killy pass in Tignes is about £500 and the Chamonix valley pass is about £420.Not mentioning the number of lifts and ski runs.No need.
look at the lifts staff when you go up with say gondola (at the middle station when passing by every single time staff is just reading book /eating of the keyboards/having a chat or sleeping/inside the control room .Take a look next time you are there. And what is it done? Nothing nobody gets the sack.most of the faces are there for the last 30-40 years.Cant move them even if they do something very wrong.
Lets hope with this S... Borovets project they will take note.
There always will be ...

There always will be complete ot not so complete beginners on the market looking for first adventure somewhere with snow.lets hope we can keep them coming back not only for the drinks ,and drinks, and drinks.Lets
For me its simple - for as long as the Bulgarian ski resorts are seen as no more than cash cows for the 'armoured 4x4' brigade then there will never be sizable investment in the places and they will always be overshadowed by the french and north american counterparts.
Nobody is thinking scale and nobody is thinking long term.
for once mikey you are right..I notice in the news that 'certain interests' now want to develop around the seven lakes area - do you think that will be any better. The name I heard is quite well respected internationally if not in his own country!
