HiyaJust an idea and I know theres not much time but do think there is any chance of organising a nite to raise funds for the orphanage appeal at all. Dunno if theres a bar at your hotel where you could hold it obviously you could then get revenue from drinks. Or if we can't arrange a night then do you reckon the reps could let us collect some funds on their organised nights? Might not be feasible but thought it was worth a try.

Do you mean to do an appeal night for the orphanage?it would be no problem at all,
just let me know who i need to speak to, also you could invite everyone from the plane
i dont mind at all i will provide some free drinks

Thanks Michelle ....will see what I can arrange. I have some posters and flyers which we could put up around resort if possible. Any ideas on what we can do to raise cash

I will ask some of the restaurants and hotels for prizes we can raffle,
guests can also donate gifts
I will also ask the holiday companies if they would like to donate anything and also attend
what day and date do you want just so i can organise myself.
i will help you put up the posters when you get here on sunday to get as many people as possible, if i let the reps know what day it is they can tell everyone in the welcome meetings, thursday is the best cos they dont have organised ...

Dona,Andie will be putting the flyers for handouts on our webpage.
You have give me an idea. for people going on an organised charter holiday it may be a good idea to speak to the rep and hand out a flyer to all the people on the plane and ask them on return journey to put all their left over money in a collection bucket. ??????

We can definately do that on the coach journey to the airport on their departure, that way the money stays in the resort to go to the orphanage, the problem with involving the uk side of holiday companies is that it is not a legitimate english charity.i will speak with the holiday companies to arrange a collection for spare change

Great idea Carole that will give Logan something to do on the plane. Are the flyers on the webpage now so I can print them off.Michelle is it not the ski instructor show thurs???

Yes,the only other day is fri and its the diplomas, we could do it in the afternoon straight from skiing, its your decision really, mon tue wed there are organised activities that will affect the income of the tour operators so we would potentially lose their support,
