re: Monarch Air?

Hi Neil - we used to fly every year with Monarc, only one year were they on time. it was ok but like Val we go with neilson who use thomas cook and the food and leg room are better. they were on time as well, we flew later than monarch but still got in ahead of them. Hope this helps - the holiday will make up for any problems with flights though, hope you have a good one. dar

I travelled with Monarch this year - the flight was fine, an hour late coming back but the flight times were better than most of the other airlines so we still got back at a reasonable hour.

The food was fine - I had vegetarian, but the "regular" meal was a chicken dish with everyone seemed fine with.

Flown with them 3 times in the last couple of years. No complaints as you all say most charter are the same anyway. Food on TCA was good though.

They are useless. I suffered a ten hour delay with them going to Sofia and a 2 hour delay on the way back. We were told barely anything and got 4 pounds to buy some lunch with (horrid)

I guess these things happen.

We travelled with Monarch in Feb, seats were very, very cramped, but service was brilliant and food was good. Would fly with them again but not for any more than 3 hours!
