Musala Pathway - how much time?

Hi all

Wonder if anyone can give me an idea of how long it would take to ski the Musala Pathway. Wanted to do this last time were in Boro but it was closed as snow a bit lacking (believe it's the same now but we're not out for 3 weeks, so keeping fingers crossed). Not a very fast skiier and will probably stop for a breather. Any help much appreciated

Hi Jo

I would say allow 30 mins to an hour depending on how often you want to stop. I take nearer the hour as there's some lovely scenery and I end up laughing on some of the tricky bits. Very Happy There are some sections that can be icy and are a bit steep but we took a beginner down and she managed most of it. The boys go off through the trees in places and find jumps to keep themselves amused whilst I try and ski sedately with style - ha ha ha Exclamation Very Happy

Fingers crossed for more snow so ...

Fingers crossed for more snow so you can do the whole run. Very Happy

re: Musala Pathway - how much time?

An hour for a slow skiier is about right. There's a nice hair-pin turn just before going over the bridge, you have to take it really slowly as there's often someone who's fallen over there.

The path splits up a bit towards the end, I recommend keeping right so you join up with the easy (beginners area) green, rather than finishing on the road and having to get a taxi back to the town

10-15 minutes tops if you take the breaks off
