definitive answer

it did not snow over the night, but the temperature obviously dropped low enough for them to use the snow cannons. They probably thought 'why not?' so they turned them on, but the strength of the sun rapidly melted the snow by the end of the day

I found another webcam that proved this.
Anyway as snow cannons are V. exspensive to run, why would they be doing that??
