:Size and style of rooms
:Free shuttle bus - driver wouldn't take money!
:Location (max 10 min walk with kids to gondola)
:Cheap nearby supermarket - go towards gondola, and take a right at the steak restarant. Then about 100 yds on left
Bad Points:
:Finish of rooms - exposed electric cables, dodgy tiling
:staircase - small kids could fall through bannister in a number of places !!
:lift out of order for ...

:bars restaurant often empty
:Staff looking to rip you off - do not buy anything unless you know the price. I got charged 40 lev by a staff member for bulgarian wine - it was handwritten onto bill
Our room had a french window opening onto the balcony.....but they forgot the balcony. Just a 3 storey drop straight down. But they did put a 'Do not open this window' sticker on it so I guess that's ok!
i feel sorry fo you the rooms are completly unfinished, very little speak english, minibus transefers are unreliable, they charge you for things you havent used.
About charigng for the bus - I was never charged all the time I was there which was a week.
They had two minibuses, and dedicated drivers, running every 30 minutes. If you miss the bus it only takes 10 mins max.
Also, try the 45minute massage. My wife had one and thought it was really good although she was surprised to find it was a guy who did it. Paid by VISA and it cost a wopping 13 quid.
About 50% spoke English, but then all I know in Bulgarian is Dobberden
