Roy H. was being interviewed for the England Managers job.
The F.A. representative, Mr. B. said to him "I'd just like to check through a few things on your CV. It says here that you were sacked by Liverpool after just 31 games in charge following the worse start to a season in the Clubs history".
"That's correct" said Mr. H.
Mr. B continues "And it says that following that, you worked as a nude pole dancer at a gay club in Bulgaria. You were arrested several times for lewd behaviour and prostitution"
"That's correct" said Mr. H.
"But it's not correct" said Mr. B. "You've made it up. Why didn't you tell us that you were Manager of West Bromwich Albion?"
"I was too ashamed" said Mr. H.

Not sure why you say that Steve. A really experienced manager at all levels including international level and a thoroughly decent bloke. Honest, good with the media, and determined. Too many people are judging him on his 6 months at Liverpool but they have been little better under that miserable git Dalglish.

I for one wish the bloke good luck and I'm sure he'll do a decent job. Hopefully the press will stay off his back, at least for the first few game anyway.

At least he speaks the Queens English and not Italian or rhyming slang

At club level he got Fulham to the Europa League Cup Final in 2010 where they only lost after extra time 2-1 to Athletico Madrid.

And I now see that joke of a newspaper called the Sun is already taking the piss out of him because of his slight speech impediment. Bloody disgrace of a so-called newspaper.

What more has the guy got to do, and why as a nation do we always mock and jeer and hound our chosen sporting leaders when they have done nothing to deserve it?

For Gods sake get behind the man and give him a chance.
