We have bought a huge track of land in Bansko and are in the process of developing a New Skiing Village.
As you are skiers interested in Bulgaria this is your opportunity to tell us what you look for in accomodation and what other facilities attract you to a resort.
I look forward to hearing from you.
The Ski Village will be located next to a new lift and incorporate accomodation, Shops bars and restuarants. we would be particularly interested in people's views on accomodation. What do they look for? Facilities? What would be major factors for them which influence them to buy?
I heard that expansion of the ski area is currently on hold so what new lift are you talking about? I would prefer that Bansko is just left alone as a real town. Not really interested in a ski village.
The development will be 4km outside Bansko so will not affect the town. It will be purpose built catering primarily for skiers. No doubt Bansko will benefit from knock on business.
We went last year and I agree with Val. There are enough man made ski resorts, and most of Banskos charm is the fact that it is a traditional town. Whatever you do, please consider this and keep it beautiful and traditional.
I know it is bound to grow in size but I say keep it how it is.
Un crowded, cheap and not invaded by "british run pubs"!
