A silly question really as its not even Autum yet but when does the shops start getting the new gear in- just asking as both kids wanting new gear and will get it towards their christmas pressies.
Cheers
Why not try eBay as most kids go on one holiday a year (like mine) and wear their gear for one week only - then grow out of it. I found the prices excellent on eBay - in fact if our kids are same age/sex we might be having a bidding war - my kids have grown out of theirs too
Pronlem is they really need to try it on as my 11 year old son still fits into aged 9-10 gear and getting trousers etc to fit is a nightmare- same for my daughter aged 13, still buys aged 10-11 gear and sods law if i bought aged 10-11 it may be too small!
Ill try looking around online though
Cheers

re: New ski wear /when to buy?
Hi Ian,
Good to see you back for the season, if the kids want this for Xmas then try TKmaxx or if you can leave it 'til just after Xmas then the prices halve and you can try any local outlet stores......... This is where we go ..
Hi mate
we are from Near Newcastle, hence why we have to travel with Balkan as only ones who fly to Bulgaria during the winter up here!
Have just e mailed the ski wharehouse company who had a factory outlet for a few month this year near Newcastle asking when (if) they intend to open it this year, as both kids fully kitted will be about £250 so looking for the decent deal so to say!
Enjoyed your posts last year, though never posted (it would depress me as never went this year!) did keep ...

No doubt will chat as the season approaches

You could get the sellers to measure everything - really is the best deal (eBay) as they will no doubt need to be re-kitted the next yr as well!
My kids are the opposite - the eldest is 11 but is 5ft 3in so wears size 6 woman!
T K Maxx have already got some ski gear in our local store, Decathlon is also very good value, they mainly do their own brands but do also carry a small selection of branded equipment, It may be a little early for the decathlon stock to be in.
Ellis Brigham were starting to get their displays of skis and boots ready on Sunday, Snow & Rock still seemes to be on last season's sale stuff (at Manchester Chill Factore they were, anyway), but won't be long now. We usually get our basics from Decathlon and know they're normally starting to gt stuff on display towards the end of September - ooh, exciting!!
The Ski warehouse in Longtown near Carlisle has some decent stuff and we are going to go over one day during the half term holidays, stay overnight in Carlisle and make it a couple of days out!
Checked their website and lots of stock expected in for October they said- so thanks all for helping
