New tax

Has anyone any info about the new tax? I've heard that anyone flying after Feb 1st will have it to pay. My friend, who's travelling BMI to Cork has had letter to say they are taking the increase from her debit card! We fly to Pamps same day (tickets arrived yeterday) but have heard nothing from Balkan.
Anybody any wiser?

Lizzi, I assume people who need to pay will be contacted via email ? We have people going out to our place Feb/March with Wizz and they haven't heard anything - not all the airlines are charging it or so I believe - I know there was some controvery because the top man @ Ryanair was saying that if people did'nt pay they would lose their places.....maybe Balkan are not enforcing it with people who have already paid ? Have you checked their website ?

Hmm are you one of the emergency 'highwaymen' who plastered my bathroom last week when the plumber removed the old tiles and all the plaster fell off ?
Does anyone know how the new tax affects us mere mortals?

I think that you may find it's paid.

Some companies are taking the payment from your card. Some companies are not making the charge on the older bookings and some just don' know.
