The wife and I are looking at a week (next week) at either Bansko or Boro - we have found a good prices for Hotel Mura and Riga Studios in Boro and were wondering if anyone could let me know if either hotel are any good???On a slightly differant note could someone let me know the price for a 5 day ski pass to the resorts, or are they bought daily and at what price???

cheaper to buy in the uk from travel company you booked with , just got mine for pamps next week and saved £64 on resort price.re: Next week 7th March 09

both hotels are good for that price but the rila is in a better location although the mura aint that far away.you can book with inghams for the rila studios in boro. works out at £249 each for the 2 of you....and they charge £95 for the 6 day lift pass.
out of interest, why you looking at a 5 day pass??

The wife does not like to ski everyday, she likes to take a day off and see the local area during the day when everyone else is on the slopes. She has done it every ski holiday we have been on.re: Next week 7th March 09

Was in Bansko January and loved it so much we're going back on 8th March. We stayed at Banderitsa hotel which is opposite hotel Mura. Some friends we met there were staying at Mura and loved it.
We've booked with Balkan got a great deal going back 8th March and got free lift passes. I think the offer is still on but only applies to certain hotels.
Not been to Boro', yet!! so can't comment.
Either one you choose I'm sure you'll have a fab time.
