re: North Face

Liza, thoughtful offer but I am off to Bansko myself mid march and have some pretty decent snowboard gear, we just wear cheaper stuff at the snowdomes as it tends to trash clothing. Very Happy

re: North Face

Fake stuff's ok - so long as you know it's fake. The 'real stuff' is overpriced anyway. My North Face jacket was well expensive, but it does what it claims. I saw North Face jackets in Pamps that LOOKED exactly the same - but for a fraction of the price, I wouldn't expect them to perform as well

re: North Face

We have bought \'North Face\' jackets for the last 3 years in Borovets, have been well happy with the quality. My son sold some on e bay and got good feedback on all of them. Have to say they were quite a bit more expensive this year 100 lev I think. Go to the shop opposite the door by the rila supermarket. Lovely lady runs it.

re: North Face

I didn't say she was old. I said she was lovely!!!! Seriously tho she was very helpful I think she owns two shops next door to each other. She was asking us where she could buy Heelys from, we directed her to e bay and said she should try to sell her stuff on there. She hadn't heard of e bay but was going to check it out. (I thought everyone had heard of e bay)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

re: North Face

'vass'sport it is. she is OK .Shop in Sunny Beach in the summer, but fake clothing sweats alot does not breath and waterproofing is none so hope for mild temps, dry and calm weather during your bargain holiday in BG.-you can always buy another jacket and put is on top or buy two and change them everyday when dry on the radiator. For the sweat-well nothing you can do.If zip breaks carry some kits for repair and do some sewing here and there Smile

re: North Face

Lets face it, there's only two reasons anyone buys North Face gear: 1) you are a bit of a label snob, or 2) you want a decent bit of kit that will kee you warm and dry. Ask yourselves which of the two reasons you fall into. If 2), don't bother. My advice would be (if you can) get one fron the states and take advantage of the good exchange rate. if 1), fill your boots in Bulgaria!!
