Hi guys, am flying out to Bansko this saturday (January 15th). Obviously been reading all the posts etc. regarding snow or lack of it and the rising temperatures. I'm really disappointed.
Was just looking on crystal ski and was pricing up Tignes this february. It works out exactly the same as what i have paid for Bansko! (the only difference being self catering instead of half board - but probably gonna be eating out most of the time anyway.)

I feel your pain brother!
I have been exactly the same myself all day. I fly on the 22nd and really hope something changes or I will cry.
I reckon you will get some skiing in dude so try not to bum out man, it will be OK. I just hope it doesnt melt and patch out by the time I arrive.
Tignes for the same price? Wow, I would have gone there anyway tbh!! I looked at Tignes and the price was way off what I paid.
I feel like crying now tbh. Feels like such waste of money. That was including area lift pass, tuition, ski and boot hire. Arrghh f*** sake. Bulgaria sucks man.
Yeah, fairplay to Rob, they do pull yer trousers down out there! But snow does weigh it up I guess.
I hope you are right though Rob - Bansko is much higher up than Borovets so this might not apply to me!!
half board deals for Tignes on crystal ski (one of the skiplus deals which includes flights, transfers, accommodation, ski hire & lift pass) for 2011 at £650 if anybody would like a decent holiday next year! Think I'm gonna opt for that! =/
