Update from Bridget:

They then made their way from Vidin to Vratsa (via Montana) where they decided to call it a halt for the night as it was far too late to try and make Stoikite at that late hour. Also, on the road from Montana to Vratsa someone hit their wing mirror, taking it right off showering glass and debris all over Pete.
They are going to have a nights rest and will start again early tomorrow. Hopefully they will then arrive in Stoikite just after lunch or early afternoon. Bridget’s last text said:
“”Hi Andie, making our way 2 vratsa 4 the nite. Just lost a wing mirror on the camper. Do you know of any fiat, citroen agents near by you. Bridget. Xx
So now I will try and track down a wing mirror for them before they start their journey back.
Will update again in the morning once I have spoken with them.
Hi all, I spoke with Pete about half and hour ago who tells me they have made good time, starting off at about 6.15 this morning and are "somewhere" on the Sofia to Plovdiv turn off on the main motorway.
I am hoping that if they don't get any problems (or lose the way) that they could arrive in Stoikite by midday. I will shortly go over to Pamporovo/Stoikite so that I am there ready for the arrival . Pete said that both he and Andy have slept in their sleeping bags out in the open ...

Pete said that both he and Andy have slept in their sleeping bags out in the open next to their precious bikes each night. When I spoke to Bridget she said "Hi Andie, I am just trying to wipe some of the s..t of my face and I am using lots of deodorants lol"
Safe journey you lovely peeps and I can't wait to meet them. Will update as soon as I can on their arrival.
Hi all, final update for Bridget et al and their journey from Sheffield to Stoikite:
Pete, Andy, Bridget, Dom, James, Jack (9) & Alice ( 8 ) eventually arrived in Stoikite at about 3.00pm this afternoon. Hi all, final update for Bridget et al and their journey from Sheffield to Stoikite:
Pete, Andy, Bridget, Dom, James, Jack (9) & Alice ( 8 ) eventually arrived in Stoikite at about 3.00pm this afternoon. Having got underway early this morning they made really good time coming up the mountain to Pamporovo. It was a very emotional meeting and they all looked so tired but so very happy that they had finally reached their goal.
The children that were in the orphanage greeted them with party poppers, balloons, and a banner and were so excited to see the motorbikes. After a bite to eat and a cool beer the children helped Pete, Andy and everyone unload the trailer and stood around talking to Pete and Andy as they were fascinated with the motorbikes. By that time, around 5.30pm, they were all so tired and all they wanted was a shower and a bed for the night.
Although the last thing they wanted was another journey I said that Nigel (njw) had offered the use of his guest house for as long as they wanted it. So, after 5 long, hot days on the road we arrived at Four Seasons Retreat about 6.00pm. They were over the moon to see that they could have a bed each, that longed-for shower and room for the children to run around and play after being couped up in the camper van for so long.
They have now all gone off to bed hopefully for a good night's sleep. They continue their journey tomorrow leaving Bulgaria for Greece, and then by ferry to Italy. Bridget said she will report back on their journey etc. when she is back in the UK and asked me to thank everyone who has posted wishing them a safe journey.
