Just thought I would open a new thread for those people who wish to post stuff about the orphanage but have been put off as I for one do enjoy reading it and do not wish to keep scrolling down the multitude of posts on the other threads.
To those who do not wish to read it please do not post negative comments as the topic was clearly labelled and you did not need to open it.

Hi dbutIts the big moterbike ride to Stoikite this Saturday (Pete and Andy) hope they got plenty of sponsership, I think its fantastic what they are doing, there is a post further down that tells all about it
Also did you know that the 30,000 euro target had been reached.

Thank you dbut for raising this topic for us yet again. Yes, we have reached our heating fund target but it goes without saying that these children need ongoing support to make their lives more comfortable.Hi Julie - Please email me on how things are going with you. I am waiting to hear from Bridget as to the "off" date for the biking guys.

Hi All, we're off this Saturday 16th, leaving Sheffield 5am.. Oh my god so nervous, but Pete so excited!! Andy and the gang going to be here tomorrow to help load the donations into the trailer and last minute check's on both bike's..Will pop back on again tomorrow to keep all informed.Bridget.

Hi allI received a text from Bridget at 6.48 (UK time) to say that they had started their fantastic journey and were heading towards the tunnel.
I will keep you all up to date as she has promised to text me throughout their journey.

I have been in contact with Bridget and Pete this morning and at 10.30 they were near the Calafat/Vidin crossing. I emailed directions to Stoikite to them and it looks as tho they will hopefully arrive in Stoikite around 6-7pm this evening, just in time for a nice shower and a cool beer or 2 or 3 .
They are already quite saddle sore but in good spirits and apart from the 2 guys on the bikes they are travelling in a party of 7. two being children. I have wished them a safe last ...

My heartfelt thanks go out to this great band of people who have undertaken this journey from Sheffield, Uk to Stoikite BG simply to bring donations for the children.
