Off To Dublin Tomorrow

Taking Angie for a short break - never been before but I'm led to believe it's brill, especially Temple Bar so please behave and I'll be back Monday night.

Great to hear that you are coming to Europe's most vibrant city. Temple Bar is nice but it is a tourist trap. All
the great museums are free. The Hop on Hop off bus is very good value. I hople you and Angie will have a pleasant relaxing visit.
Unable to go to Pamps this year for the first time in 27 years due to my chemo treatment so I know how you are feeling.

Many thanks for all your work on the Board and for the orphanages. Keep it up.

Nicest for me in the Temple Bar area is The Elephant & Castle - lovely food. Lots of bars but I found them quite pricey....maybe worth a wander around other areas to see what you can find. Very touristy as per previous posts, but sure you'll have a great time whatever!!

go to the guiness brewery worth a visit. bring plently of euros dublin is very expensive

No Dan the distict is Temple bar and the bar is temple bar

I liked the jamesons whisky tour myself...

Dan, remind me to tell you the one about the deaf and dumb girl i met in Dublin...

Fantastic city,but i fear it's maybe one of the most expensive cities in europe at 5 to 6 euro a pint...
