HAHA, thought it might be you... the champion beer drinker of all Bulgaria. I'm sure if there were tables in Diamond within my reach i would be on them... and then falling off... I have other methods of keeping everyone entertained in Alpina but fortunately you missed my debut last season!

Can anybody tell me if the family who used to run Petes bar are still there or how they are doing. I too have drank in there for many years after a good days skiing and have always found them to be some of the most friendly people in Borovets. Very good with the kids too.

They still live in Samokov town. One of the brothers (Pepe)runs a restaurant/bar up on the side of the valley over looking the town its called the "Rido". The other brother (Mitko) runs a restaurant/Bar in the centre of Samokov called "The Garden" incedently the family own both of them. I haven't seen the mother for a couple of months but from the last time I spoke to Mitko (a couple of weeks ago) she was doing fine.

petes bar was never the same after they made it into a ski depot there. We had many boozy afternoon and evenings in there before it changed. went to the resteraunt in the hill when we visited our friend nick in samokov town in june the views were out of this world, give it a go .
