Andie, I know just how you feel, when I visited the orphanage with lovely Amanda I was unsure what to expect, these chidren will remain in my heart forever, one little boy aged 9 called Merko shyly took my hand and hugged me, my heart broke in two, for the rest of the day he stayed with me, he has the most fantastic smile I have ever seen, the next day we went to the school and he came running up to me for a hug and a kiss. Some of the older children were telling me what a good boy he was. On this day Amanda did her famous gymnastics for the children and Merko was so happy to be involved, I can actually say her dancing is sort of OK.

These children are so happy with so little, a kiss, a hug, a smile, I cant believe how quickly things have moved on since I visited in January, it makes me believe again,

I saw the bedrooms and the common rooms and the broken windows and I felt the unbearable cold in that place, and just to know that things are improving gives me so much hope, because of peoples kindness and genourosity these children now have some hope, my only hope is that we will all continue to support them and I will return to see Merko with an even bigger smile on his face.

Hi Julie,

Carole and Andie took some special photo's of your little Merko when they visited. My dancing is getting better now, can't wait to show you my new moves.

Things are improving for the better now, we still have a long way to go, but without everyone being so kind the children would not be smiling. There is no price on a childs smile, and i am just so happy i get to see these smiles on a regular basis.

Thank you for the photo's and cards, i will look forward to giving them to the children next week.

Hi Amanda, I cant come to Boro, the flight was just one way, I have been in tears today because I now know there is no way I can be there, Clive, Gareth and Daniel are going to France skiing this weekend so i will be home alone and billy no mates. .. and its my birthday next week. .. .however I will be thinking of you all, give my love to everyone and remind Carole I need to send the £20 for the bag she auctioned for the fund, I will email her when she gets home, have a fantasic time, behave yourself !!! and I am glad your dancing is improving, keep practicing, glad you got the the cards, letters and pics.
