i don't know what to say to you guys but I posted today on the 25th and all runs are open. Last week it snowed very heavily late Wed and all Thursday. On Friday the top runs were not open. The runs infront of the Rila were open and pisted. On Saturday all runs were open with the exception of markujik3 which was closed due to avalanche risk. Today all runs are open although I must admit I did not ski Markujik 3 but the lift was running so I assumed it was open. i would be first to say that Borosport do sometimes lack ability on the piste management but this time to be fair they seem to have done ok. 100+cm of snow. 50% open the next day and all (except for avalanche areas) open the second day. This is just my honest report so make what you want of it.

DontTrustTheCam - the windup merchants comment was directed at your post on the 23rd (monday) and then John's post today, the 25th which seemed to say that runs were closed. What I meant was you guys were winding people up on Mon and today because the runs were infact all open since Saturday (the 21st)

sorry if I upset you about something I just thought people should know the real story

jocrad's comment of course is very valid. certain lifts are indeed closed certain days each week due to lift maintenance. this is a bit annoying I agree but I suppose lift maintenance is a safety thing.

Skialot - I am fully aware of who the 'wind up merchant' comment was posted at!

However, My post on 23rd was infact as a result of reading the updated snow report on this site , ALSO DATED 23rd, which clearly stated 6 runs closed! READ IT! It is still saying the same a it did the day i read it!

My post of 23rd was valid as of 23rd when it was written as those runs were infact CLOSED! So were does the 'wind up'come from?

Accept it skialot - You jumped on the bandwagon a day late and started slinging your 'windup merchant' and 'the lifts are all open' retrospectively to the initial posts.

DontTrustTheCam - I understand now what you mean. I didn't know you were referring to the piste report on this site as its not mentioned anywhere on the postings. That's why I thought you were just winding people up.

The report on this site is definitely wrong though as the runs were open (with the exception of Markujik 3) on Monday. I guess this site is not so accurate then.

I noticed on that same page that they say the Tomba run in Bansko is open. I think that is the one the world cup races are taking place on so surely it is closed at the moment.

anyway. I don't know about the bandwagon bit. I was the only one that disagreed with you so it was a small bandwagon. I think its just that we are using different sources of information.
