Am out on in Pamporovo the 14th january so I feel comfortable that the snow will be ok.
Just out of interest though what about the people out there now? They must be devestated and shouldnt the travel companies take some of the blame as they have started the season early? Ive never been skiing b4 and I could of easily been sold a holiday as early as now but I couldnt get time off work. I know you cannot predict snow thats nature but surely there must be some sort of trending????
By the sounds of the posts I didnt think anyone was skiing. Every1 worried about snow (i know the web cams at the bottom blah, blah, blah) Wasnt the 1st lot of people there last week?
How boring is all this talk about snow or lack of it? Who gives a s**t? If it snows it snows and if not, who is buying the next round?! Find something real to worry about, like who will feed all the starving this Christmas!
Andy I have been to Pamps 5 times and I cannot belive people have gone out this week not there fault I add. If you go to a travel agent and see a nice snowy resort I suppose it is easy to get carried away and not check to see when the snow normaly starts.
Every other post is about the lack of snow BUT the season has only just started and I think this may be the first year that tour ops have gone to Pamps the week before xmas. Even if you go xmas week in Pamps you are PUSHING YOUR LUCK ...

Is it greed on the tour oporators part? Well I read an interesting article in the paper on Sunday saying just that. They have been responsible for pushing the season forward in the Alps in the last 10 years why? Well more wonga I would guess but this year they have been caught out.
Hi, we fly out on the 14th Jan too and are hoping that the weather will remain cold enough to keep the snow forecast over the next few days. I have been regularly checking the forecast and i'm keeping fingers crossed that all will be well for our week out there as it's our first time skiing too... I sorted out the holiday so will feel terrible if something happens to mean we can't ski...
SNOW SNOW SNOW!!!!!
We don't get enough white stuff in England, hence booking a ski trip!
