PETE - was there a kettle in your room?

Was there a kettle in your room in Sestriere?

Now let that be a lesson to everybody.

If you want to be sure you have a kettle in your room, take your own.

Will there be a kettle in my room?
I am going to Livigno in Italy on 13 Feb and need some advice.
Also, will it snow and what will the conditions be like?

Yes there will be a kettle in your room - but it's broken. Sad

re: PETE - was there a kettle in your room?

Will I be able to hire one there, or should I take one with me?
This skiing lark is more complicated than I thought Wink

You can hire one from the bloke in the little cabin next to Debenhams in the resort.

Cool, cheers!
Any idea of how much it will cost for a week as it may be cheaper to buy one and take it with me.
But then again it will take up room in my case and may lead to an excess baggage charge.
I think I am getting a headache!

re: PETE - was there a kettle in your room?

Pete,

While you was away there was a major kettle debate.
We all tried really really hard to help.

To be honest, after the effort of last week, I'd had enough of kettles, so decided to have a completely kettle free day today.

However, I have some work to do. I opened up my emails to see that my first piece of work this year has an attachment from a company in Birmingham.

Their address:
KETTLES Wood Drive, Bartley Green, Birmingham.

You couldn't make it up (and I'm not).

The kettles he sells are bio-degradable and self distruct after a number of uses. You can buy a 1 week one or a 2 week one. Remember that as you are at altitude the boiling water is actually hotter than boiling water in the UK so be very careful. The limescale it generates is measured on a scale fitted to the kettle called a limescale scale scale and if it reaches a reading on the limescale scale scale of more than 70 over 10 then do not use it as it can cause you to catch scaleamatosis ...

Hope this helps. Confused
