re: PLOVDIV

Do yourself a favour. Don't fly with Thomson/Crystal from Gatwick to Plovdiv.

We have two years in a row and were delayed both times. Last year we were delayed at Gatwick for six and a half hours. A one off? Not likley!!

This year there was a six hour delay on the same flight. Coincidence? What really wound me up is that were treated like idiots and didn't receive an explanation or apology either time. Even though we effectively lost a day of our holiday each time.

Well Thomsonfly, ...

Well Thomsonfly, that's at least thirteen people who won't be giving you their money next year.

By the way, our rep was Tess (Crystal) and she was great.

re: PLOVDIV

We went Doncaster to Plovdiv, with Thomsonfly and were delayed as well. 4 hours going out and about 2 coming back. Our flight had already been changed to a later time, from when we booked. We ended up with just 3 hrs sleep before going out to get to the welcome meeting to collect our passes etc Look very carefully at the flight times and factor in them being changed and delayed- any late afternoon flights could well end up with you arriving in resort the next day!!

re: PLOVDIV

We flew with Thomsonfly from Manchester but going to Sofia and we were delayed nearly 3 hours going out and about an hour coming back. Also the leg room was awful. The seats in from are so low that you couldn't get your legs under them. I am quite tall so felt like my knees were under my chin. We will not be flying with Thomsonfly ever again!!!!!

re: PLOVDIV

Correct me if i'm wrong but don't you get delays all over the world?

Flew with Balkan (AKA Danair) a few years ago and we were delayed 11 hours.

re: PLOVDIV

Flew Balkan; last year, Cardiff - Plovdiv no delay either way, just returned, Bristol - plovdiv 40 minute delay going out, fantastic holiday, excellent snow, both times in Bansko and cheap as chips so no complaints from me. Very Happy
