OMG 8,000 posts on here - how sad is that

I just worked out .... if each post took 3 minutes that adds up to over 16 days non stop on here!!!!!!

So how did it all start

Well about 7 years ago I found this site, (it looked a lot different then and I think I had about 3,000 posts on the old format too) and I began to read the posts. Then when I realised I could answer some of the questions I started looking at the site every day and it just grew from there.
At the time I just called myself Pete.

Then one night about 6 years ago in Pamporovo I met up with Nic and his wife who own the site and they asked me to join the team as the site administrator which I gladly accepted.

A few night later I was talking about the site to a guy in the Perelik lift and he said 'oh you must be Pamporovo Pete' and that's what I've been ever since. Not a clue who he was and never seen him since.

I love this board and it's members to pieces and have met many many of you over the years...........

Daniel Snell, Tanjette, 80%, Dave Canski, Banknote, Lisa, Sune, Alley, Kim, IMT, Judith, Fraser and Sarah, Pat, Julian, Debbie, Cookie, Snowshack Steve, Moey and Helen, Scott, Val, Ellie, and loads more that will kick my arse for not mentioning - but you know who you are and I'm much the richer for having met you.

Of course there are some on here that don't like me - that's inevitable, although I have always tried to maintain the high standards of decency that this board is so proud of and nobody likes to be disliked - so....... to any I may have offended in any way over the past 7 years - put it behind you and accept my apology.

Anyway - onwards and upwards.......

we have a lot of new names on here this year as well as many regulars that have been here for a long time.

Thanks for your support, without you there is no board.

Keep it up and maybe I'll hit 10,000 before the season ends.
