Good Question Funski - and a tough one too.

There is no doubt that Sestriere was far superior when it comes to number of runs and overall skiing conditions. They groom the slopes perfectly and never tire from making the conditions anything other than first class.

However, I felt the resort lacked atmosphere and certainly came 2nd in Apreski. Prices were about double those in Pamporovo but that was to be expected from a former Olympic venue.

The best answer I can give you is that if I could only ever go to one or the other ever again then it would have to be Pamporovo.
Don't ask me why - it's just the hold the place has over me.

I had a funny feeling you would say that ...

I really wanted to go somewhere else this year .. somewhere in the eurozone .. hence why I was interested to hear what you had to say about Sestriere ...

But with the prices the way they are I have decided for the 6th time to go back to trusty old Bansko ..

How can you beat:-

Flights
Transfers
Hotel
Ski Hire
Boot Hire
Lift Pass
Ski School

all for a total of £390.00 !!!!

Just amazing ..
