No, to both questions.

I was asked to monitor the site by the owners about 6 years ago.

Borovets has never really appealed to me - but for no specific reason.

apparently it's cr*p and a real muddy hole. i've personally only been to pamps and borovets thought pamps was a nicer place but borovets far better skiing.
