Padded shorts
Do people wear those bum pads? Or are they restrictive for snowboarding?
Might buy some out there to save my rear from getting too bruised...

If it doesn't hurt, you won't learn not to fall over.

I must admit.....I think I will. It was a bit icy last year and I walked like John Wayne for most of the week.

re: Padded shorts
Never met your gf, but from my past experiences the girls arnt used to much pain and have a tendency to let you know about it.
Padded arse trousers sounds a great idea.

re: Padded shorts
the truth comes out!!
I was thinking of getting essentials in the UK and buying padding in Pamps. Will it be cheaper to buy padding out there?
I've seen in a few mags and websites that Burton do one for about £49 or there is some cheaper ones for £29.

Good call.
What about knee pads or is that OTT?
I'm gonna get wrist guards definitely.

re: Padded shorts
wouldn't bother with knee pads....to restrictive. Best to get trousers with built in padding in all the right areas.
