Pamporovo (Hotel Perelik) 29th jan

Booked into Perelik hotel for a weeks' learn to snowboard' with my nearly 18yr old son (me being 43 feeling 23 haha). After reading a few reviews on other sites about the hotel (mmmmm) just wondered if anyone has stayed there more recently and whats the resort like.

cheers gary

re: Pamporovo (Hotel Perelik) 29th jan

yeah just got back from perelik,
snow in pamps was pretty good but its been warm recently so needs a bit of snow,
the hotel has bowling alleys, a pool and a ton of fantastic bars. the rooms aren't that bad to be honest though.
the curtain doesn't pull across the whole window and the showers are not great as they flood the floor a little, but the beds are comfortable etc.
the food... breakfast is fine, very basic but all you need to get ready for skiing, the dinner however is pretty hit ...

any questions, just ask

Hi ya ,

Try the white Heart pub down in the town ,
seemed about the best place last Feb and has a great happy hour Booze and plays live music .

Food is good on the slopes pay around a fiver for a pizza and pint much cheaper than other resorts in Europe.

Flying out with my partner on the 29th from Manchester so may catch around in the airport bar .
Anyway after a weeks boarding planting yourself head first into snow trust me you wont feel 23 anymore lol

all the best ...

re: Pamporovo (Hotel Perelik) 29th jan

take a kettle with you Gary, as they defo don't supply them. Shorts are OK in the pool. Also if you ask the waiters we have found in the past they are more than happy to accommodate vegies and will make a dish especially for you. We found it was better to pretend to be a veggie as they would cook something different every night and didn't charge any extra.
