Pamporovo Info

Hi

Going to Pamporovo over New year, booked through Neilson and in their brochure it says take sterling cash. From people who have been or in the know, is it best to take sterling and get money changed whilst there or get it changed into Lev at home?

Also what price is the average beer and what is the nightlife is like?

Dont know what the rate is at the moment but in ten years of going it has always been better out there.Make sure the notes are clean with no marks or rips in them.

You can also struggle with Scottish and N' Irish sterling notes. Nation wide flex account offers the best rates with no charges at the atms.

The rate of exchange in Bulgaria today was 2.18 leva to the £ sterling.

If you do take English notes (which is what we always do) do not take any that are ripped or written on as they will not accept these.

Nightlife is great in Pamporovo. Live music in White Hart to start off and then more live music in the Apres Ski Bar, then head to DJ's (formerly BJ's) or Daks Bar. The later 2 stay open until all have left, usually around 3am.

Oh Bugger,
I must be REALLY old now --------- i have to GET UP at 3am when i go skiing to put me teeth in, rub all me creams in and bandage myself up ready for the days jaunt......................... How can people GO TO BED at 3am ??????????????????????
