I have been skiing in Pamps for 26 years and have very good friends in the resort. I took a party of 34 adults to resort from 7th to 14th of Feb and we had a fantastic week of Skiing. But can i please advise people against the politices involved around the lunches on the mountain at lunch time. The Ski instructors get 30% commission from every meal so naturaly they will bring you to the places this is occuring. The Lodge for example Coke is priced at 6lev that is £3sterling for a small Coke which is a complete rip of for anyone let alone parents with childern. We however refused to be told were we ate and found a great eating house on the mountain called the Reseneion. Located at the foot of the wall just round the corner. Waiter called Vasco will get you whatever you need at less than half the prices. ie: Coke 2lv and food substancely cheaper than the Lodge. You only have to do your sums 34 people averaging at 25lv per lunch in the lodge =850lv less 30% commission for Ski instructors 595lv A tidy little daily amount of 255lv £125sterling.
This saving enabled us to Tip the people who really were not trying to bleed people. As i've said i know a lot of people in the resort and i disscused this issue with them including our Ski instructor who has been instructing us this past 7 years. On a plus the skiing was great and we enjoyed another successful trip even had a Star Wars day on the slopes which went down well. So come on Pamps sort out this desire for everyone to bleed your life blood.
