Hey - just wondering if anyone else is going to pamps on the 3rd or 10th march??Im a 20yr old boarder bringing my 21yr old cousin to teach her to snowboard.
Think we will be staying at either the perelik or hotel pamporovo - any comments on them>?>?
Anybody know owt about the historical snow reports for early march - dont want to book it if there aint going to be no snow!!
Either manchester or doncaster - to plovdiv.

Do yourself a favour and make sure you check out the hotel reviews. We stayed at the Pamporovo recently and thought it was dire but the most recents reviews on tripadvisor make it sound like its getting worse if that were possible! (tripadvisor.co.uk)
I actually wonder if this site, which is well respected, and rightly so, should be looking into endorsing the hotel at all, given the recent comments and problems experienced there? I'd knock it off the list if it were up to me... I'm pretty ...

I would not look too much into historical weather reports. Last year around 20th January the temperature was I believe around -30 (including windchill). This year was around +16, quite a difference, especially if you compare the snow from the two years. I think there was still a bit of snow around April last year though.....re: Pamps - 10th March
Stevo Hotel Pamporovo is nice, everything in it that u need! Bar, restaurant, sauna,pool, jacuzzi,casino, bowling alley, defo good value half board

I got mixed reviews too but I'm a travel agent and my colleagues have visited it, I'm going myself on the 24th Feb. It's very clean food not fab but certainly edible......good crack Irish bar and they don't stop serving till last person leaves apparently hehe good fun in the perelik hotel I've been told too!! flying out to pamps on 3rd march - was there last week in feb last year and lots of good snow. fingers crossed will be ok this year! hard to know with the way the weather has been this year. stayed at perelik and staying there again this year. clean, basic - the norm with hotels on skiing trips. staff friendly. has pubs, shops, pool, resturants etc all under the roof and 1st stop for ski bus in morning so guaranteed a seat etc.re: Pamps - 10th March
Oh right nice one - was frantically trying to look for other deals then but the perelik have stupidly put a £10 room supplement on all the rooms - that adds £140 quid on top of the holiday - Hotel Pamporovo only add £2 so dont know what to do...... risk the Pamporovo or splash out for the perelik!!??I stayed in the Hotel Bor 8 years ago and that was really crap so i guess anything will beat that in my eyes!
