Thanks Benson! I'm new to the site so I haven't yet cottoned onto the banter between the various characters. Anyhow, I'll live in the hope that I get to ski in Pamps. Thanks for the help.
Wonderer....
STOP STRESSING RIGHT NOW ABOUT PAMPS!!!
I got back a few hours ago and had an awesome week.
Start of last week there was very little snow, and it was t-shirt weather with glorious blue skies and baking sun, however the weather changed mid week and it's snowed pretty much every day since. I have a friend still over there and he says it again is snowing tonight. Lots more snow due over the next few days.

Start of last week there was very little snow, and it was t-shirt weather with glorious blue skies and baking sun, however the weather changed mid week and it's snowed pretty much every day since. I have a friend still over there and he says it again is snowing tonight. Lots more snow due over the next few days.
I boarded from the top of the mountain today and in some places the snow was 3 foot deep, with lots of fresh powder. I struggled to walk from the top of the three man chair lift this morning because the snow was so deep, I'm nearly 6 foot and it was thigh height on me!! Some of the lower runs are a little rocky still, and I chose to take my board off and walk, but only because it's brand new...I watched others in rental eqiptment happily skiing/boarding the whole way down the mountain.
All the lifts are open, and the weather is stunning. I was too warm in jacket and t-shirt and had to stop to get rid of my hat to cool down.
It has been sleeting/raining slightly in resort, but don't panic because it's definately snowing at the top of the mountain.
The webcam is deceiving - in fact I nearly cancelled my holiday last week because I was so concerned about the grass and grazing horses, but I'm made up I didn't. The webcam takes pics from the bottom of the mountain and in no way reflects the snow conditions at the top.
I also stayed in Hotel Pamporovo - it's alright, definately not a true 5 star, but clean and toasty warm. Food isn't bad, but for the cost of eating out I'd head into the resort.
I had such a fab week I'm online booking to go back in a few weeks!!
Have a fantastic time

Should have also said, if anyone would like photographic proof of the snow situ in Pamps then drop me an email and I'll reassure you with lots of snaps of piles of the white fluffy stuff

Good Morning Boots - glad you had a great time in Pamps - we are going out next Saturday, been before several times and always loved it. (CANT WAIT!)
Would be very pleased to see your photos if you have the time to put them on.
