Pamps - hotel Bor or pamp

has anyone stayed here... what was it like and is it really only 10 mins walk into town?

also, the hotel pamporovo is supposed to have 8 pound supplement per person per night is this really true?

and one last thing, has anyone ever had to return ski boots as they were too big? Missold by the shop... any suggestions or ideas?

Neither - head for the Murgavets - much more central and IMO a better hotel.

stayed in the Prespa this year and it was great but we're on a bit more of a budget this season and these 2 are avail on late deals works out about 100 less per head, still waiting to see if somewhere like the mourgavets or perelik or prespa come up

me and my mates took the deal for hotel bor,with ski packs £301 each half board, 6th jan

Go to the Murgavets, we stayed in pamporovo hotel for one night till we got moved, it was shite.....sorry for using that word but thats the best way i could describe it

Rachel, I have stayed at the Bor (also known as the Borstal). Although it states it is a 3 star hotel, that is Bulgarian 3 star. I stayed there in a group of 8 and our room was not too bad. Some people in our group experienced bad smells in rooms and cold rooms.
Just manage your expectations guys, it is functional. And at the end of the day, what are you there for, the hotel or the snow?

I took my boots back to the shop after wearing them for half an hour in bansko and crippling me, Snow and Rock do a comfort guarentee, they exchanged them for me even though already wore them, but you could not tell...

agree with Pete Murgavets my favorite in pamps, the Perelik is not a bad 2nd choice for location

Rach, thomson have got some good deals on at mo, Murgavets 12th jan works out at about 300 with lift pass, look on their web site.
