Off to Pamps for 5th time and just want to say to everyone what a cracking place it is ! Great sunny slopes, the outstanding Brothers Bar mountain restaurant, Balkan Hols aircraft & Povdiv (!!), great (almost authentic!) mehanas and the "bell sellers" - if you're up for laugh and want a quality holiday, you can't beat it! Done several of the hotels and went to Bansko one year too (very good but Pamps is a magnet!)

sounds great.Off to pamps for first time this year - from what ive made out so far from this forum is...
- beers cheap
- lots of cool bars
- you'll end up buying some sort of gypsy bell from a witch
- hotels are quite posh
- switzerland sucks :-)
- loads of irish peeps up for the crac (or however they spell it)
- you have to haggle like a monty python sketch with the natives
- beers cheap

this will be our 2nd time and can't wait. had a fantastic time last year, and I can say that it is a great place for a first time ski as well as apres. Balkan flights take a book as in flight entertainment is watching the stewardessesre: Pamps - the Dog's !!
Its 3rd time in Pamps for me, going with my partner and without the kids this time, so might get to see the night life and sample the cheap beer.
Hot chocolate n Brandy was nice tho!! especially when it was minus 15 degrees in Feb 06.
Can someone paint some white spots on the web cam please, waiting for snow is like watching paint dry.

My in flight entertainment was watching the rusty hindges on the 10 emergeny exits incase they came off and clenching my ass cheeks to stop the liquid coming out. Oh and looking into the cockpit at biggles with the door wide open on take off and landing wondering how p**sed the pilot is.re: Pamps - the Dog's !!
This is my fourth visit, my first was many years ago in the time of communism. Now there was real flight emnternainment. All I can sya is I can/////////////////////////// wait, and Lady I can///////////////////////////'t wait, can't wait either. We just love the people, we even buy bells DOh Ray Me.See you all around at Xmas and Febs
